First off – wow! The last time Carlos and I stayed here, we had a camper parked on the very edge of the cliff. I would open the camper door every morning and enjoy the view of nothing but ocean as far as the eye could see.
This trip we had more people with us and decided a camper may render things a bit more chaotic in the end, so we booked a cottage. We really had no idea what to expect. There is literally no information in terms of amenities for the cottage, there are no pictures, and it’s a military camp site – realistically we weren’t expecting much except the bare bones of what would be needed.

I could not have been more pleased with the cottage! It was spacious, we were able to fit and sleep 5 adults and 3 children very comfortably. The cottage had everything we needed, fully equipped with cookware, dishes, extra trash bags, plenty of blankets and pillows, and service staff dropped by every morning to provide fresh towels. There was a walk path right next to the cottage that took you straight to the beach. It was perfect!
One of the reasons we enjoy this location is the privacy you have. Although the location is always fully booked, you wouldn’t be able to tell hardly anyone is there. The beach is spread out enough where you don’t feel cramped with the other guests and it’s fairly quiet throughout the day – it just doesn’t seem as packed and crazy as it should be. Additionally everyone you run into is pretty friendly, this includes the locals.
Last time Carlos and I stayed we enjoyed a kayak tour which ended up being the highlight of the trip. This time we spent all of our time at the cottage enjoying the beach, family and relaxation. There is plenty to do, Fourth Cliff also has a game room connected to the check in lobby which offers a pool table, ping pong, and some arcade games. This was great during the rainy days we were there. There are plenty of places to get groceries, alcohol, and other necessities close by and even little places to eat about 3-5 minutes down the road from the site.

All in all we plan on coming back again soon! It was such a wonderful stay and everyone really enjoyed themselves.
***Take Note: This installation does not allow dogs in their cottages but you can have your dogs on site and at your camp sites. Additionally this is a military only site, you must be military (active, reserve, retired, etc.) in order to book a camp spot/cottage.***
